Kokanee, a resident of Muskoka Wildlife Centre at Gravenhurst, Ontario, Canada. This Mountain Lion lives in a large enclosure with his best friend, Kootenay, a black bear. Their cross-species friendship is touching. Just goes to show the types of friendships we make—and goodwill we feel towards others—when our bellies aren’t empty. Politicians could learn a lot from this.
